STATIC REBELLION

About Me

So Much For Modesty
..
If you took away Harry Potter’s wand and gave him rock, you’d have Static Rebellion. Formed in the fall of 2007, this zany group of musical zealots has already begun taking names and melting faces. Due to the fact that they hail from Castle Rock, CO, the guys in SR have seen their fair share of the world and are ready to write about their lifelong struggles... *sarcasm*... Commenting on their fun-loving-yet-serious attitude, lead vocalist Max Rowe says, "People say it’s all about the music but then lead sad and pitiful lives. They never stop to ask themselves what the music is about." He and the other members, Nick (Guitar and Vocals), Wes (Guitar), Ryan (Bass), and Tim (Drums) have tried to adopt this philosophy when they write songs and live their lives. "We are always asking ourselves," says Nick, "Is this really the message we want to put across? If it is, we go for it!"
There’s no doubt about it that Static Rebellion has been going for it! Most of their promotion is done by themselves and asking others to promote via word-of-mouth or over myspace. Rumor has it that Nick and Wes will spend hours on myspace pushing to get their name out there. They don’t do it the traditional way of requesting to be "friends" with promiscuous "models" and other musical groups just to appear as if they have friends. "We like to be on a first name basis with as many fans as we can." Says Wes. "We find that the more we do for them, the more they’ll do for us!"
So, all they ask of you is to keep listening and keep telling everyone you know about the band and the music! There is little doubt on what the future holds for this fantastic fivesome, so be a part of it!
