"GRAND" the well known and unsinged power house has a love and passion for music withen it self . growing up in the street's of (oakland ca,) and witnessing the hard times the bad and the good . he know 's what it feel's like to struggle and fight to get to the top.just like he speak's about in his music. as a former member of the group (derty looks) it's safe to say that "GRAND" can hold his on as proven on their first release (explicit visions) in (1999) with solo song's like (I KAN"T TAKE IT) and( THE HOOD IZ HOME) were he prove to be a brilliant writer by take lifes experiences and puting them into music as all great artist do. after (EXPLICIT VISIONS) he followed up with a compulation album in (2004) that featured "GRAND " as the main artist which lauch the single (IT"S NOTHIN!) that "GRAND " is known for and the video with great support from local video station (C.M.C.) and many more. the compulation went on to sale as much as 20,000 copies and reach (# 89) on billboards and then move up to (#82) and that was all independently done . with great success the first time they re'pakaged and re'released the compulation and made it a doubble cd and gave "GRAND" more feature's like the single(LADY"S NIGHT) featuring r&b sinsation (ALLEN ANTHONY) formerly of the super group (CHRITION) of (ROC-A- FELLA )records and the follow up secound single (LIKE UMMM!) featuring heavy hitter (E-40) and produced by teen super producer (DROOP-E). and after all the hard work "GRAND" still stands tall being versatile with an incredable work ethic that the music industry need's from artist today."GRAND" is truely a hard worker and dedicated to what he dose. he's curently just completed the compulation "Da sak is still fatt vol#2" on which he's featured on fifteen track's out of nineteen . and just finished up on his latest mix tape "GRANDS &RUBBABANDZ" and he has a current mix tape "KNOW ABOUT ME!" in the street's right now with the single and street anthem("IM 'n' DIS BITCH!!"). he's worked with some of the best bay area and down south artist and producer's in the game people like E-40,Mistah F.A.B, Keak da sneak, Malika, of (makin da band 3) allen anthony,san Quinn, Traxxamillon,Sean-T,Juvenile,choppa city,LiL keke, big pokie,the last MR BIGG,papa Ru, GRIZZ,droop-e, and so many more he's opened up for people like "paul wall" ,the Lagendary "DIGiTAL UNDERGROUND" Gabby Willson and the lagendary "Ohio players" right now he's working ..ing his own imprent "GRIND INC." and geting more hand's on into the bisness side of thing's he know's that the key to success is being able to bring new talent to the table and giving other's a chance to shine. he feel's that most artist need to exercise that and he also has been trying to get into produceing he has'nt done any production for any body yet but he's been working and profecting his craft. so be check'n for some production from "GRAND" real soon. he love's to calaberate and mix sound' s and other genre's of music and would love to work with artist such as scarface, Keasha cole,Rich boy,Too short,Ludacris, T-pain,Nelly,Polo da don,Missy Eliot, Alica keys,Jay-Z,Raphil saadiQ, and producers he'd like to work with Dr.Dre,LiL Jhon,Jermain Dupri,kanye west,J-lac,Timberland,cool&Dre and Brian michel cox. and so many more "GRAND" { my gold's are} : to be successful at every thing i do and to work hard at trying to achive that. music is my life and as long as I live I'll always find things to do that are musicly inclined.and if God keep's blessing me I want to go as far as my talent will take me..................... for more info contact "GRAND" @ www,myspace.com/grifatt or www.myspace.com/grslaps
