Everybody's children are so special. It makes you wonder where all the ordinary grown-ups come from.

About Me

Someone write this "about me" thing for me. If it's on target I'll post it and give you credit. I swear. All I know, is that when I die I want to be an urban legend, like bloody mary.

But first and foremost, I use this to find new places to explore and photograph. Old abandoned hospitals, sanatoriums, mansions, houses, cemeteries, you name it. If you come across one of these lovely structures, please think of me! :-)

My Interests

Everything... One day I want to save money to back pack through Rome alone. The next day I want to save it for cello lessons. The next day I'm saving for a digital SLR. I have a pile of interests crudding up my brain, and a serious lack of money to see them all through. I hate money.

Oh, and I like to write. Can you tell?But... I will always be interested in graphic design and typography, photography, abandoned buildings and hospitals, serial killers, abnormal psychology, music appreciation (because I have no patience to learn an instrument, truth betold), people and what makes them tick, record collecting, silkscreen and printmaking (I'm building a home silkscreen studio in my crammed apartment asap), just art in general.. whether it be a Caravaggio painting or a mold of the artist's head made out of frozen blood. (yep, it's been done.)

While I'm at it, check out these artists too! Joseph Cornell, Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp, Damien Hirst, Salvador Dali, René Magritte, Frida Kahlo, David LaChapelle, Cy Twombly, and Joel Peter Witkin - if you have a strong stomach. I also have a soft spot for 1920's crime scene photos...

I'd like to meet:

"You know, I sort of like this dating thing, I'm sort of getting the things here. What I do is, sit back and watch as these strange men try to impress you in weird and stupid ways and then... and then you pick the least disgusting one, I guess."- If Lucy Fell

Someone who will lie with me in the middle of a grassy field, watch the sky and forget about time...and mean it.

People with strong convictions...music geeks and book nerds...clever wordsmiths...people who make me laugh...and anyone who pleasantly surprises me.

Fellow urban explorers!

I'd also love to be in the presence of Mike Kinsella, Michael Ian Black, Bill Murray, Chandler Bing, Susanna Hoffs, Nate Fisher Jr., Parker Posey, or Ewan McGregor. And in the afterlife I'd like to have a chat with Karl Marx, Elizabeth Bathory, Edgar Allen Poe, and Audrey Hepburn. Maybe some serial killers as well. Since I'd already be dead. :-)

...but my heart is spoken for.
