The Gangsters

1996-2000

About Me

Starting out in their mid-teens, the Gangsters recorded around 30 songs at Chem19 studios, which were engineered and produced by Andy Miller over the period of 1996 to 2000. The band disbanded around this time and its members went onto begin new projects. The Gangsters played countless gigs around Scotland at venues such as King Tuts, The Edinburgh Festival, The Garage and the 13th Note and released a few limited runs of EPs on Arcana Records but most of their back catalogue was shelved when the band split. At request from a few old fans i've decided to put up some of the tracks which would otherwise have disappeared into the binary abyss, so for anyone who remembers the bus loads of drunkards and the suits, enjoy.
