Ska Bangies is a 6 member band, created in February 2005. They all come from Musical Schools and try to combine their influences from Manu Chao to Metallica and from Arctic Monkeys to Bob Marley so the result is a mix -n- match kind of music.Hope you enjoy it!Since their creation they have participated in several festivals like Legalise-it Protestival,Resistance Festival etc. and Schoolwave 2005,2006,2007,2008 and also played in various venues like Gagarin 205 Music Space, Fuzz Club, Kuttaro Club, An Club etc.Their "highlight" moments so far have been : Schoolwave Festival 2005 and 2006 , Schoolwave Festival 2007 where they performed as guests along with Looming Titties and Musica Ficta, Schoolwave Festival 2008 where they performed as guests,featuring also Markos Koumaris from Locomondo, July 10th 2008 in Rockwave Festival 2008 where they performed as guests of Schooligans,along with 6 more Schoolwave bands (Looming Titties,Rosebleed,Musica Ficta etc.) opening the day and warming up the people for Locomondo,Patti Smith and Manu Chao and Giorth ths Mousikhs Festival 2009 in Volos where they opened Paulos Paulidhs & the B-MoviesThey are now signed with Archangel Music and their first full-length album is going to be released in July 2009.Here are 3 videos: "El vals de l ombrero" (Ska-p) at Schoolwave 2006, "Cannabis"(Ska-p) at Schoolwave 2007, "Den kanei kruo" feat Markos Koumaris(Locomondo) at Schoolwave 2008.
