Eddy NEGRIT

**AUTEUR-COMPOSITEUR-INTERPRETE**Originaire de la Guadeloupe, précisément de la ville du Gosier, né en1965 il a commencé à participer à divers concours de chants sur les podiums des fêtes communales dès l'âge de 9 ans, il interprète alors des chansons traditionnelles.En 1987, poussé par la passion musicale il concourt pour le "Rêve Antillais" organisé par le groupe Kassav, il arrive jusqu'en demi-finale. 1988 "l'Oscar du 1er souffle" au centre des Arts et de la culture de Pointe-A-Pitre fût son second grand évènement accompagné de deux grands musiciens de talent Daniel DIMBA et Rémy CABARUS. Ce n'est qu'un début. Il participe avec divers groupes folkloriques dont: "Ka Pou Douvan" de Flessel WILLIAM, "l'Akadémiduka" de Jacqueline CACHEMIRE-THÔLE, "l'Association des Jeunes de Saint-Félix(A.J.S.F)" en tant que chanteur lead à diverses manifestations dans la caraïbe. En1991,il s'envole pour la métropole afin de poursuivre sa carrière tout en enrichissant ses connaissances musicales. Il rencontre alors Charles POLYPHEME chanteur du groupe "Gwa ka" présidé par Jocelyn VIRAPIN qui le sollicite. Il devient en 1995 le chanteur lead de ce groupe. Il s'y investit si fortement que Patrick SAINT-ELOI l'invite en qualité de choriste sur le titre "Réhabilitation". Un an après il interprète le titre "Matété a crab" de Jomimi sur l'album de Luc LEANDRY succés garantie. Dès lors Eddy NEGRIT acquiert une certaine assurance dans le travail qu'il accomplit et fort de cette expérience il s'envole pour l'Afrique avec le groupe "Pakala Percussion" de José BELLEROSE pour représenter la Guadeloupe lors du Festival Panoramique Afrique Musique(FESPAM). Envahi par L'expression culturelle il devient même Acteur de Complément avec le groupe GWA KA dans un téléfilm "LES QUATRE VINGT UNARDS" réalisé par Marco PICO, comme acteur:Pierre ARDITI, Christine BRUCHER, Dominique LABOURIER, Ronny COUTTEURE et bien d'autres. Ce fût pour lui un grand honneur lors de la Foire de Paris 2003 et 2004 de représenter la Guadeloupe avec l'A.J.S.F accompagné du groupe "Tou Piti Ka". Se sentant poussé des ailes dans ce vaste univers musical caraïbéen, Eddy NEGRIT ne veut pas rester là. il rencontre alors l'un des pilliers et messagés de la musique antillaise ex-chanteur de gwo ka le grand SARTANA qui l'introduisit vers un style différent plus axé sur le mélange zouk, compas et gwo ka. Après divers interprétations, le travail de l'artiste se concrétisa avec son premier né "Réalité". Un album haut en couleur basé exclusivement sur le compas car il a été réalisé avec Georgie JACQUET lui-même très inspiré par le rythme Haïtien.
