Dead Souls Project represents the psyche of today’s social outcasts. Their blend of emotional lyrics with body jumping music has led them to become one of the undergrounds most talked about groups. Their sound is alternative smashed with rap and retro.
Based out of Toronto, Canada, this group has been rocking streets for 6 years. They have supported some of today’s top artists (2 Live Crew, Jordan Knight, Treble Charger) to name a few.
In 2003, DSP teamed with Michigan's ultimate underground kings of Controversy Solid Soundz Ent and they released “One Night Standâ€, a 12 song LP that demonstrated many of the different styles they represent. Their songs “Freaky†and More Than Us†earned them radio / club play in Michigan and Ontario. One Night Stand rapidly sold through its first 1000 units at live shows and in the street. This also led them to a loyal north american street team.Since then, some offers have been made from labels, however nothing has been pursued.
