A bit of everything, but I'm a particular fan of David Bowie, Tom Waits, Nick Cave and his various bands and projects, Mark Lanegan, PJ Harvey, Elvis Costello, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Devotchka, Lou Reed, The Pogues, The Clash, The Misfits, Massive Attack, and Los Lobos. To name a couple.
Until the End of the World, The Proposition, Cool Hand Luke, The Fifth Element, Mother Night, and High Fidelity.
Nothing current, I loved the X-Files and recently watched Firefly and Arrested Development on DVD, good stuff.
Reading is practically all I do for fun. My favorite book is The Fool's Progress by Edward Abbey. I love Steinbeck. I read a lot of genre fiction, SF, crime and Horror. Some non fiction, mostly history and biographies. Dan Simmons is a personal hero.
