Having started in late 2007 as the brain child of frontman Stevie Rees (Vocals,Keys,Guitar), Electronic Defiance Company have spent the last few months locked away in a rehearsal room honing their craft.
With songs written, but unsure what to do with them, Stevie laid the foundations for the band when he began to search around for like minded musicians who could help bring his music to life.
His search was short but fruitful and soon Scott Warner (Synth, bass, backing vocals) and Ben Gordelier (drums, percussion) were drafted in to complete the line-up.
Although a new band, the individual members are no strangers to the music industry; having between them all reached varying degrees of success with signed bands such as The Junket, Marla Singer, Defenestration, Maps and Gunning For Goliath. However, passed experience has not allowed the members to become complacent (or jaded for that matter) and the fresh start is proving an exciting time for all involved.
With a single planned for early summer and gigs being booked, EDC's up to the minute fusion of indie, rock and electro will surely see them established as ones to watch. .
