I got infected by the "metalfever"down at 1976 by AC/DC..s High Voltage,soon followed by Iron Maiden,Mot?rhead,Judas Priest and Saxon...(Biff became my nickname at the time).The fever never ended,and more metal entered my live and never left.At 16 i became a roadie for Dutch FIRST ever thrashband,Second Hell,later on i became the vocalist.Short after S.H.split up,as a guitarplayer i formed my own bands(Morgoth,D.F.R.A.S.,Malfunction,started as early death metal like Hellhammer/Celtic Frost,and evoluated to Technical/progressive thrash like Coroner/Exodus,highly inspired by Mekong Delta though... Later on i became member of a fullcolor motorcycle club for 7 years,till i became very ill for years and i left the M.C.Nowadays i am still dealing with the consequences of a permanent (very painfull) damage to my nervesystem caused during one of the surgeries i..ve been through. Meanwhile i married my beautiful wife,and became father of a son (Tommy-9),and a daughter(Bodine-6),and my life changed completely.(again). Except for heavy metal,it has always been a great deal of my life,a way of life,a reliable friend, and it still is. Nowadays i am involved into Millennium Records,the biggest second hand rock and metal mailorder co.in the BeNeLux(www.millennium-records.nl chekkk it out!),and working together with my oldest friend Ed.(for 33 years now can you believe that?!). The story continues;my 9 year old son is also a born metalhead,he is really into Sonata Arctica,Ozzy,Mot?rhead,Iron Maiden,Rammstein and Rush(he visited Rush at the Snakes And Arrows tour concert in Ahoy Rotterdam,and on the age of 7,i took him to his first concert of his favourite band;Sonata that is...) So,the metal-circle is closing now... ..
