N!K

N!K was born in 1984 in Zofingen, a small town in Switzerland where he’s still living today. N!K came into contact with black music in his early childhood. His parents played blues, soul and jazz at home and his mother was a gospel singer. So music became an important part of his life and coined him considerably. The key moment occurred as N!K has got his first hip hop CD from his father at the age of 9. N!K loved this new and rebelliously music at the first moment. Afterwards his first beats and raps followed a little time later. At this time N!K produced with simplest equipment like the hip hop ejay. Today he still makes beats with low budget equipment but now he works with the FL studio 6 and Adobe Audition. Moreover he uses an Akai MPD24 and a Midi Keyboard…”My beats are soulful and jazzy combined by classical elements. I see Kev Brown and Pete Rock as my big idols and the two greatest producers of all time”.
