About Me

G-Dogg and B-Realla are the Muddy Boys A.K.A. Muddy Water. G-Dogg and B-Realla brothers from McComb, MS. G-Dogg began to collaborate with other local dirty south artists and produced a few studio recordings in the early 90's. In 1994 G-Dogg dropped his first recorded song with producer Michael Collins of G 'N'Me Productions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ G-Dogg began to collaborated with his brother B-Realla who had just completed his first studio recording "True Soldier" the summer of 1998. G-Dogg & B-Realla then signed an Independent recording deal with a Fort Worth Based label, Dirty South Records. After one year, G-Dogg and B-Realla decided to leave Dirty South Records in late 1999 and formed a new Group representing Mississippi. They named the group Muddy Water. Not to be confused with any other artist, but to signify a new breed of dirty south artists. " The South's Been Dirty We Just Added Water to it" Was the theme of the new group. Muddy Water began recording their first underground album in late 2000. Traveling from Texas to Mississippi, insisting on recording the album in Mississippi, the album was finally complete in early 2001. After unsuccessful distribution deals, the album was put away for later release. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In 2001 Muddy Water signed a recording deal with an Atlanta label PIK Records. After completing their first album, "PIK Records Presents The Hall of Game Compilation", it became a top underground seller online in 2002. The group finally parted with PIK records in 2004 and began an independent label called Muddy Music, which enabling them to be creative not only from an artist prospective, but also from an Executive Producers prospective. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the spring of 2005, Muddy Water released their first underground single "Out Dat Mudd". 2006 began the completion of their 2nd album "Sumthin in Da Water" Featuring the Late Tupac Shakur and Industry Mix DJ Legend Ron G. After the Completion of the Album, Muddy Water joined the Vibe Hoops-N-Hip hop tour the spring of 2007. After finishing up a 12-Date College Tour with VIBE, Muddy Water, returned to Working on a 3rd Album. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ In the Fall of 2007, Muddy Music launched a full scale marketing campaign for Muddy Water. In 2008, Muddy Water released it's first Single since 2006 with "This is Muddy Water" along with the feature Video. The Video was produced by Film Director Mike Taylor, known for his work with P-Diddy and Young Jeezy. The video received great reviews, and is currently listed on BET.com's indie video's "Ya Heard". Muddy Water hopes to release the long awaited major release in Mid 2009.
