About Me

Thanks for stumbling upon my page. Perhaps there is something here of interest to you. Maybe my story or possibly my pain. This is where it begins.I am a percussionist. I began playing 39 years ago. I am still learning how to play. My resume might make it look as if I am good. I am only adequate. I am still learning my instrument. I am a percussionist.I went to school. I was not a good student. My favorite classes were English and music. I learned two things in school: haiku and how to recognize the overtone system when you compose, listen, play, or sing.In a way, music is my life. It keeps me going from one day to the next. It is a gift and at times a curse. The pleasure of performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Pasadena Symphony, and Les Grands Ballet has certainly been a dream come true. These experiences have made my life wonderful and joyous. Working with these groups provides me with an opportunity to continue to learn and to get better. My CD is now finished and is titled "Songs of the Diaspora": Music for Percussion and Tuba. It is available at CD BABY.com

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Other musicians, percussionists, photographers, and tennis players. As well as interesting people who have a story to tell.
