The Urban Art Collective

The Urban Art Collective was founded on the idea that Underground Music, Art and Lifestyle should be brought out of the shadows and introduced to people who would other wise never experience it.
The UAC is a journey for us as well as viewers; people are always producing exciting and uplifting art for people to enjoy, therefore we will never be or claim to be experts in a field that we have just begun to explore.
We strongly believe that people should be allowed to express themselves in what ever way they like, be it an energetic Pop Rock ballad or emotional graffiti on the side of a back alley wall.
Our mission is to bring to the UAC to the forefront of underground musicians and artists from all over the United States and the world. The ultimate goal of the Urban Art Collective is to become an organization that focuses on supporting the arts; through fund raising events and donations from members we hope to contribute to the art world in our own small way.
We think that inner city kids as well as baby boomers in the suburbs do not have nearly enough funding for the arts in the public arena to explore and create as they should. Please let us know of any avenues that we can explore to achieve these goals, as we can't do it just by ourselves. Big Dreams and Big Promises.
Recently we've decided that it would be wise to delegate work that can only be performed at a local level to people in the actual communities that see and hear the art daily. The message stays the same, but the level of interaction increases significantly. Starting in our home city of Boise, were actively recruiting individuals to help in other citys throughout the country and world.
