The bold and cordial child would serenade to his family, put on shows for his friends, and make home movies for everyone to see. Sean started singing and entertaining at the tender age of four. He starred in countless musicals throughout his childhood, whether it was in the community theater, his school, or the church he was compelled to attend by his overtly religious family. Little did they know the not-so-innocent performer would fall quite far from the religious tree. It’s no wonder that little button-pusher would turn into the multi-talented, well-rounded, and provocative artist he is today. “I was always the one to take charge in every situation, mainly because that meant the spotlight would be on me,” says Sean Avolio, 20, who is currently making a name for himself in the tough, yet great city of New York. “The first time I saw Mick Jagger running around the stage like a maniac on TV was when I decided I was meant to be an entertainer. I found him to be fascinating and intriguing. I wanted to be him.” Sean moved from his small, suburban town in the Chicagoland area to New York City right after his 19th birthday in order to pursue his dreams. He had never been to the metropolis before, and he knew no one, but he was more determined than ever. He radiated ambition and talent wherever he would go. His unique style continues to avert eyes everywhere, and he has every intention to build upon his provocative ways. “I decided to pursue pop music upon the release of Britney Spears’ first album. I had an incredible school boy crush on her that made me hang on every word she would sing. My childish adoration for her resulted in an infatuation with pop music as a whole,” explains Sean in reference to his choice in musical genre. Sean got to work immediately upon his arrival in the Big Apple. “Within a month I had met several producers, singers, and songwriters. I collaborated with them and learned a great deal,” says Sean, and he continues to collaborate with other artists. If you are looking for just another good singer who stays within the lines and keeps it politically correct, Sean is not the singer for you. Sean Avolio is more than just a singer. He is an artist. He is edgy and anomalous, and no boundary is safe from being pushed to its full extent. Sean concludes, “I have always been a multifaceted artist. I believe that I possess a uniqueness that attracts people to me, and I want to be able to use this quality in order to express my ideas to the world, open minds, make people ponder, and most of all, ENTERTAIN!” ************************************************************ *** Become a fan on Facebook! ************************************************************ *** ************************************************************ *** Follow Sean on Twitter! ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ****** Subscribe to Sean's YouTube channel! ************************************************************ *** ************************************************************ *** Download Sean's single off itunes! ************************************************************ *** .. ..
