transf i x - has evolved since 199X and rose out of the brotherhood of the late great RedTower collective. It all began in the city of Chicago with a series of spoken word events re-advancing into the recording process. Writing with a new dimension in mind and another purpose. Embracing the future primitive. Mutating into a head on collision of analog and digital/acoustic and electric. Everything becomes fragmented, adapted, then reassembled. A cut-up of sorts.
