Trip-Hop is probably my favorite Genre of music. Morcheeba, Pink Floyd, and Sublime are my favorite bands.
Music is the heartbeat of my soul, and that makes me happy.
I actually have several best friends:
Jaz is probably my closest friend in the world, although in a lot of ways we barely know each other. Its very interesting, but we are always there for each other. She is a photographer and a model. She is an amazing person who can really best be described as the most beautiful flower in any garden.
Jamie is another one of my best friends, she is a tattoo artist, and an amazing artist (drawing, painting, etc). She has a heart of gold and she is also a model and an amateur photographer. She is going to be my roommate here towards the end of April.
Mo is also one of my best friends, he now lives in Vancouver, and he and I are truly partners in crime. We were pretty much roommates when he lived in Dallas, and we were roommates when I lived in Vancouver. We have shared many amazing memories, including driving from Vancouver (British Columbia) to Los Angeles to see a concert, on a whim. We left Vancouver with very little money, no concert tickets, and only the belief that we could get in to the Coachella music and arts festival. Needless to say, we got in and had an amazing time. Just one of many memories I will always treasure.
I have many other very close friends, but in the interest of time I am not going to go into great detail about them right now. Jaz, Jamie, and Mo are my 3 closest friends, though I consider several others my best friends as well. I actually have so many best friends that they are more like a 'Best Team', lol.
I love to drive, it is very relaxing, and very very fun. I drive a Midnight Blue (only looks marginally blue in direct sunlight, otherwise it looks black) Acura 3.2CL Type S, manual 6-speed transmission car. I vowed never to own another automatic car after the last one I had (a Mitsubishi I had for a while). I do not focus on driving and tend to be a much worse driver all together when I am driving an automatic car. Plus it is a lot of fun to drive a manual transmission car, especially since I drive a Sport Luxury car that is very beautiful and very fast.
I watch a ridiculous amount of movies, as well as television series. I do not even own a television, but I use my computer to watch them. I hate commercials, so I rent movies and television shows via Netflix, and I also watch both television (without commercials) and movies online streaming.
I work at an IT company as pretty much the head of client relations, and one of the heads of Sales/Marketing. My office is in Downtown Dallas, and I work in a job I absolutely love. I typically handle almost all of the sales, and client account management for my company. We sell Dedicated Servers (in case you know what that is). I make very good money for my age, and I am very good at what I do. I am extremely skilled in sales, marketing, and research and design.
I am a very spiritual person, though I do not follow any major religion. I consider myself to fall into the category of 'Pagan' though that is a very loose term. I am very interested in the supernatural and the occult. Not in an 'evil' way, but I like to appreciate all of the beauty and wonder this world has to offer.
I've never had a very close relationship with my Mom. She is almost 70, and is a very controlling person with a very juvenile attitude. I'm not quite sure how she has made it this far without 'growing up'. I do currently still live with her, and I am sure that part of my feelings towards her will lessen once I move out on my own next month. I have always felt like I got stuck with the wrong parent. I feel that typically children have one parent who they relate to more and are closer too, even if only slightly. I believe that my Dad would have been that person, but there is no changing the past.
I'm an extremely creative person, I am always able to entertain myself i that respect, and it is definitely my favorite quality about myself. I don't exercise as much as I would like, or really very much at all. I plan on exercising much more once I finally get my own place, since my apartment complex will have a gym.
I enjoy drinking alcohol, though I do not drink liquor at all, only beer and wine. I drink probably once or twice a week, not getting completely hammered, but merely getting buzzed with friends. I have no problem with smoking marijuana at all, in fact I very much so enjoy it. I smoke quite often, but only when I have wound down from my day and am going to be at home for the remainder of the evening. I find it very therapeutic, relaxing, and most of all fun.
I'm horrible when it comes to dating, I very seldom date because I typically do not have the opportunity. I am not very good at picking up on signs from women, and I really am not good at all with flirting or asking for a date. That being said, I have been in a good amount of relationships, most notably my ex-wife Gia. We were never legally married, but I have and will always considered us as husband and wife during our time together. She was/is a very interesting and amazing person. I loved her very much, as she loved me. Unfortunately we were not right for each other and things did not work out. I have come to terms with this long ago, and I firmly believe things worked out for the best. We lived together for over a year in Kentucky and Tennessee.
I am a muse, which means I inspire art within others. I love nothing more than being the inspiration for someone else to express their own form of beauty, it is a remarkable thing, and I am very happy to be able to do that for others. I myself write, and am a poet. I do not typically write poetry, however I think in poetry, which is very unique and very amazing. Words are definitely my weapon of choice, whether it be for good or for bad. I love to write, although typically when I actually try to sit down and write something it does not flow as freely as it does when I am doing something else.
I enjoy playing games, mostly on the computer, but occasionally on console game systems like the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Wii. Though I do not own any console game systems, mostly because I do not own a TV at this point.
Well there is the short novel of some of the many aspects of me. Hopefully you will like what you read, though I wouldnt be surpised if you were not happy about some of what you just read. Either way, it is who I am, and I am fine and happy with that.
If you have any questions, or would like clarification on anything, just let me know.
Regards,
~Ryan
