Throwaway Kids came together towards the end of 2007 being made up from former local bands Darkest Day, Hornography and Cartoon Violence. They burst onto the scene with a handful of songs, a two-track demo and a fast, aggressive, no bull-shit attitude.
They took to the streets playing as many shows as they could get whilst progressively writing new material. TAK play a unique blend of punk and old hardcore ,trying to do something different from what they've done previously in other bands or what you can see in the scene today. The Throwaway Kids music and songs relate to the day to day shit happening in their lives...
In ealy 2008 TAK began recording of a 5 track demo to be released mid 2009. TAK are currently looking for a new guitarist to fill in for James as he has taken over vocals...so if you are interested get in contact with us and we can organise something
