I have had an idea that has turned to stubborn insistence. I've been a Hanson fan since spring of 1997, and a member of the official fan club since late summer 2001... but I don't know any fansons! I'm so busy that I can hardly ever find time to get on the forums, and when I can, it's not enough to build actual relationships with other fans. The question: How do we stay connected to each other when we're all grown up and bogged down in "real life"? The answer: We have to become a part of each others' real life. The result: An organization, invented by me (no applause, please, no pictures, I don't have time to sign autographs right now...) called Walk Together. Yes, I googled it, and someone apparently staked their claim to the name before I did, but it's an event, not an informal organization, so they can suck it. Muahahaha. The idea is to get a network of fans in every area around the country (or the world, that would be super-cool) to get together on a regular basis, both for random fun and for raising funds to support Hanson's charity work in Africa. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact us any time! (See welcome message on the blog.)
