Hailing from the Midlands, Eeek (Mandy Burton (guitar) and Lucy Moxon (vocals)) have been writing and performing together for just under twelve months and have swiftly established themselves on the Midlands music scene. Having made their debut appearance at Birmingham Pride last year Eeek breathe a sense of freshness into the acoustic music scene, with mellifluous, soulful vocals, influenced by legends such as Spanky Wilson, Dusty and Ella Fitzgerald and a widely inspired, articulate and endearing guitar accompaniment, the combination of which has led them to early success and interest. They are currently in the studio recording tracks for their first album.
Up and coming gigs will see additions to the band in the form of drums from the marvelous Karen Milne, and sees Lucy reunited once again with the fantabulous Danielle Wilson on Backing Vocals.
