Influences:
The two guys that have most influenced my playing, not that I would ever claim to hold a candle to either, are Steve Lukather and Neal Schon.
Others would include Larry Carlton, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, Frank Gambale, Brian May as well as all the usual suspects... Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, etc.
And... Some guys I really looked up to as a kid, and that I was priveleged to call friends... Danny Carlisle, Doug Sloan, Mike Denny, Bobby Angello. All of these guys at one time or another either inspired me or straightened me out, or both, when I needed it early on. To be sure, there are times when I could still use some straightening out!
For better or worse, I just sound like myself... I'd know myself anywhere ;o)
