WWSB is owned by Calkins Media, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based mass media company that owns several newspapers in Pennsylvania and two other television stations: WTXL-TV in Tallahassee (which Calkins acquired in December 2005) and WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama (acquired in February 2007).
