At a young age, I discovered that my hairbrush made a great microphone. At
that moment, I found my inner rockstar and never looked back. After high school, I moved up to Boston and attended Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, I spread my wings and explored so many musical styles and collaborated on many music projects with talented, amazing people from around the globe. Eventually, I found myself on the West Coast - living the life of a Vegas lounge performer and performing all over the Vegas strip - What a life!!
While in Vegas, I continued to collaborate and write original music. I formed an original funk rock band called "The Glert" (yes, that's my nickname) with fellow musicians and friends - Stacy Henry (drums), Andre Brunson (bass), James Davis(guitar) and Ken Gold (keys). We recorded a CD in LA titled "On Black Paper" (available on CDbaby) with one of LA's hottest and most progressive
producer/engineers -Sally Browder (Rockets from the Crypt, Dwight Yoakim,
Young Dubliners, Moot Davis). The CD was recorded mostly live and analog all the way! The band quickly gained attention from local media and getting airplay and even featured on a NBC TV special. We began opening for acts like Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, George Thorogood and Linda Perry (4 Non-blondes). We played in clubs like "The Joint", The Roxy and The Key Club. I continued my studio career as well as singing on hundreds of commercials (McDonald's, Cold Stone, City Bus, Intel, Sante Fe Casino) and voice over work and demoing songs for writers. I recently made my way back to the East and am in the studio. I am booking shows in the NY area.... Life is good -ROCK ON
