I'm one of the head instructors and owners of the Freestyle Fighting Academy , the largest Mixed Martial Arts academy in Miami. As an instructor I have had the pleasure of helping people better themselves both physically and mentally.
I've been training in the martial arts for over twelve years. In that time I have accumulated a lot of titles in MANY competitions and have been recognized as one of the top submission fighters in the world. In 2003, I was the GQ USA Lightweight National Champion and the following year, in 2004, I was the ADCC USA National Champion - in both National Tournaments, I won without being scored on. In 2005, I had the privilege of officially representing the United States in the Submission Wrestling World Championships.

But my personal accomplishments as a competitor have been overshadowed by my success as a coach and a martial arts instructor. As a fight coach, I have had fighters fight all over the world and be featured on Pay Per View and national TV in shows such as BodogFight and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As an instructor, I have helped underprivileged kids stay off the streets, have helped overweight people lose weight and get into great shape (some students have lost close to a 100 lbs), have taught self-defense to students that have actually had to use it (including several police officers who have successfully defended their lives with the techniques we have taught them), and I have helped give direction to some students who needed something extra in their life and through the martial arts I have helped them find it.
My passion is the martial arts and there is nothing I like better than to be training or teaching. I love the art and I love being able to improve the quality of life of my students. My students are my friends and family - and I make it my personal pledge to do everything in my power to help them accomplish their goals.

I just want to add that I am very fortunate to be able to have such great friends and family at FFA and I wouldn't have ever accomplished anything without the help of my teammates at FFA. Big thanks to all of you guys and girls for the support over the years!
