What makes me unique
Many people say they are the diamond in the rough, but I consider myself
the diamond in the dirt has not been found yet. Since I started college I have
noticed, and so have people around me that I lighten up the room in which we are
in. I am not a loud person; I am quiet until I think about a topic in which everyone
can participate in. My friends always come to me for advice whenever they have a
problem. I do not judge anyone on their looks, but I do make a judgment on their
actions. I have met a lot of people that make assumptions, and most of the time
they are wrong. I think on my own the way the god I believe in made me. I do not
think like normal people I think outside of the box. I have been in some very
uncomfortable situations, but with the personality I have I can get out of them.
I get invited to many social gatherings,
not because I have been their friend for years, but because I am just a great person
that can entertain the people. My girlfriend parents often ask me if I am going to
marry their daughter. I find it weird that the parents would think about marriage
before I can even plan the next date. Unique to me is a word that often gets tossed
around like love. I am not conceited, but I am confident in what I think I am
capable of doing. I often tell myself “what makes you unique†sometimes I can not
come up with an answer. If you ask my friends and family and they will tell you.
They will tell you all the positive aspects of Gerardo (jerry) with no lies. As
Popeye would say “I am what I am and that’s all that I am.â€
