About Me

I believe that Man was created in the image of an omnipotent God of Justice, with the innate capability to emulate his Creator, and that the Fall has made it necessary for him to subject himself, by implied consent, to the rule of law. Since Man is no longer good by nature, government must be instituted in order to preserve him from his own vice. This government derives its power from the consent of the Commonwealth, and its power can only extend as far as the will of the governed allows. This is the role of the Republic:To protect the natural rights of Man, which are:Life- The right of every human being to live a free and full life, from conception to the last natural breathLiberty- The right of every human being to be his own authority, provided he does not infringe on the right to life, liberty, or property of his fellow man.Property- The right of every human being to pursue, to any virtuous extent, happiness through goods and services. In all things, the people must strive to maintain a moral and social order, independent of the government, without which true government is not possible, and will inevitably devolve into anarchy, or tyrannny. This profile was edited with MySpace Profile Editor
