On August 3, a “King” was born. A young man destined to acquire legendary status in the near future, positioned and ready to take the Hip Hop community by storm and claim his throne. King Official was born, raised and bred in the heart of the “West,” the most rapped about area of so many other Hip Hop greats that have paved the way before him. He had dreams of playing basketball for the Georgetown Hoyas basketball team but the pull of the true gift within him began to draw him. It was at the early age of 5 that his talent was recognized by others. Growing up he was raised in a large family. The eldest of 5 siblings, hip hop was a constant steady source of influence in his life. While his uncle was a member of the early 90’s popular rap group “Wu-Tang Clan”, his father and uncles were also heavy in the West Coast rap game. He recalls his grandmother being a supportive figure in his childhood after quickly recognizing his “inherited genes” to perform she bought him his first musical instrument. The family generation and early exposure to the Hip Hop culture was bred into him as the lifestyle began a deep-rooted appreciation for the art. This history quickly molded and cultivated his flair as a matriarch of his own time. King Official began paving his career in a group that he had formed with some of his cousins known as the “Young West Movement”. Impressively enough attained much success and notoriety performing all over Southern California. After graduating high school King Official continued his education attending college in Riverside California which affords him a rare distinction that although his dreams are to take the Hip Hop industry by storm he is also striving to finish his college education. With a young fresh look, handsome and well built, King Official is multi-faceted. With a diversity and ingenuity to him that his counterparts would envy also an unbreakable tenacity which instantly puts this young star on a fast track to mogul status. His intelligence and education is not only evident in his persona but is also apparent in his lyrics. He’s not only a rapper but a talented actor, writer & producer who has written and produced numerous hot tracks for other artist just to add to repertoire.Within a short span of time “King Official” has created a following throughout Southern California. Performing in shows, drawing crowds by the masses and filling up venues by impressive numbers even further solidifying his rapidly growing fan base and is showing no indication of slowing down! Although his young influences through the years ranged from T.I. to Ludacris, Jadakiss and Kanye West; his attributes and creative pun of words in his lyrics put him in the likes of The Game and Jay-Z. With the world within his grasps, a confident swagger and undeniable appeal, this talented young phenom is on his way to record breaking multi-platinum status. It won’t be long until the world will soon recognize him and he will claim his undeniable throne as the “King Official.”
