Reformatting and getting back to the point... You'll be seeing MUCH more activity here very, very soon...
We live in a changing world.
Artists' with enormous followings are no longer going platinum.. We're approaching the 1st FULL generation of people who've never had to worry about getting I.D.'d while buying an "explicit content" album.. Hell.. Most of them haven't had to buy an album at all.
What we're doing is setting up meetings dealing with getting recognized amidst the mess out there we call "the industry".
With guest speakers, discussions and sharing stories we can strengthen the bonds of our own scene and let it loose into the outside world.. Knowing full well that we'll all be prepared.

Any ideas, requests and beyond are more than welcome.. Remember.. We're here for all of you..
A HUGE thanks to everyone who helped and supported the official ATXU meetings... Between John Wickham opening the doors of the Elysium on a few Monday nights and speaking, Mary J. Baird-Wilcock taking time off her busy schedule to discuss dealing with local radio, Kim Reese from the Austin Music Foundation for letting us know that they're always there for support, Bradley Bills of Chant for sharing vital information and getting a bit more candid and of course the wonderful crew over at 2BEntertainment for helping us all out in too many ways to count.
Remember to keep your ears and mind open!
