Should a firefighter make the supreme sacrifice while working, his family is supported financially by the city. Benefits are drastically reduced, however, for those who die non-line of duty. The Thomas Elsasser Fund assists these families with medical costs, housing and repairs, and school tuition. 80 families currently receive support from the fund.All profits generated from the auctions, raffle, and cover charge of $10, will go to the Thomas Elsasser Fund.
