The Fatted Calf Stringband

Inspired by the old-time music of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, The Fatted Calf String Band plays in a hard-driving, hell-bent-for-leather style. The Fatted Calf String Band brings intensity to old fiddle melodies with the vigorous rhythm accompaniment of banjo, guitar and bass. The liveliness of their performances are marked by rowdy sing-a-longs and long-playing dance tunes.
