Eight U.S Presidents were born in Virginia and six out of the first ten Presidents of the U.S. were born in Virginia. So it was in the cards that James would be the president and creator of his own company, DINK Entertainment. (Drive Increases New Knowledge), and Head of Development of Shady Tree Films, Inc. He begin his career in New York as a successful print model and actor. In 2005, he produced, directed, wrote and starred in the award winning film "Arthur! A Celebration of Life, the labor of love docudrama about tennis player and humanitarian, the great Arthur Ashe. The docudrama was screened in over a dozen major film festivals, including the Palm Beach International, Pan African, African Diaspora and AM'FRA Festival. He produced a full scale soundtrack for the docudrama, lead by grammy award winner Alicia Keys. As a lyricist, James has over 100 songs on file and has worked with producers such as Gil Small, Randy Wilson, Jonathan Kalb and Martin Caba. As a writer, James wrote the screenplay "Soul Baby", "Truest of Friends" and currently co-writing the screenplay "B&B" with his writing partner David Allensworth, they are also adapting Terrence-Afer Anderson's play "The Fifth", into a screenplay. The team have over two dozen projects together, including animations, sit-coms, dramas, game shows, films and a collaboration with Larry Spivack on a broadway show.
