On November 19th, 1989 at 7:14 p.m born "Rodney James Fennell", [Versatyle Offycial] made history in the making. At the age of 3 [Donna] his mother realized one of his many talents was singing so right away she started to prepare his vocal cords for one of those hot sunday's at "Turning Point" their homechurch in Muskogee, OK. Many Sunday afternoons she would call him up to the alter to help lead in Praise And Worship which became a norm. Not long after, [Versatyle] began singing outside the church on his own wherever he could be heard, which was mostly at school or in the neighborhood around friends just to be locally known. It wasn't until the day [Versatyle] heard "Jump" by Chris Cross and "Dear Mama" by 2pac then he changed his mind about being just a singer. When most of the kids on the block were outside playing Versatyle was in the lab working on his singing and rapping, determined to be in the next video on BET. At the age of 12 Versatyle took his "music" to another level and wrote his first 16[bars] which later went to " In My World" a song on his upcoming mixtape "JukeBoxx".Once he reached Jr. High Versatyle was confident with lyrics and had just enough swag to show off his "Freestyling" to most of his classmates. Lunchtime battles and afterschool studio sessions (Not to mention the day he killed it at Midwest City HighSchool with his friend "Hitta" in front of the And 1 StreetBall Team on camera!) became a normal schedule in Versatyle's agenda on the daily basis. He got his career up and rolling the day he got back in touch with his long-time friend Alexis "Mz.Unique Stylez". She offered him a slot on the mixtape "This Is What I Do" backed by DipSet South HardBody Ent. he didn't just take advantage but he opened up more doors as well. Almost a year after that same mixtape dropped "Mz.Unique" offered him a deal on her label FYF Squad Ent. which moved him to Tulsa, OK.
