About Me

The Fabulous Furry Folk Night was previously a folk-friendly session and regular gig event every Tuesday evening at Glastonbury Assembly Rooms. It has now evolved into a series of gigs at the Rooms where visiting acts from outside Glastonbury are supported by local or up-and-coming folk/acoustic performers. At the FFF myspace site we also promote and organise various other acoustic / folk sessions and gigs in Glastonbury town.Guest performers at the Assembly Rooms so far have included Sheila Chandra, Robin Williamson, Emily Portman, The Dana Wylie Band, Martha Tilston and the Woods, Fern Hill, Ember, Telling the Bees, Pamela Wyn Shannon, Stevie P's Wriggles of Nen, Tim Hall, Forcenra, Gareth Austin, Ed, Will & Ginge a-Walking O, The Mandrake Project, Badly Housebound Girl, Emma Harper, Tony Thompson, Avalon Crow Morris, Gadjo, The Roots Union, The Wraiths, The Mordekkers, Emily Portman, Sarah Curtis, Ten Ton Tongue, Dom Duff, Catrin O' Neill, Orbis Tertius? and The Cedar.Folk gigs continue at the Assembly Rooms, usually on Tuesdays; see our blog for details of upcoming events and sessions in Glastonbury.
