The story of the Sick In Headz (50 the Magnificent and Fire Blacks) started in 2005 when they joined forces as dancers. But the two dancers started much earlier than that... 50 the Magnificent started dancing from the time he was a toddler and won the People hearts for dancing at the tender age of 3. Growing up half and half in Spanish Town and Portmore, Waterford,7 west, he continued dancing through school (Ms Brown's Basic School, Fredship Primary, Cresent Junior High and Vauxhall High School) and preforming at many local shows and dances. After finishing school he continued dancing and at the same time got his Certificate in welding, worked as a sales rep followed by making couches. He also performed with the well known DJ Vybes Kartel at the time. In 2001 he entered the Tastee Talent Competition where he reached all the way to the semi-finals. His first dance group was named 3 logy aka Cash Money Dancers that consisted of Domain aka Jack Balance, Junior aka Junior Sparks and himself, at the time known as Discoteck. In 2002 he perused his career went solo for a while under the name of 50 Jackson and danced with Sashga Dance Company and Deidri (with Auntie Patsie as a tutorer). At the same time he was the dancer for The National Cheer Leading Team of Jamaica with Master Brian until the union with Fire Blacks was made. In 2006 he met Nina aka Chikitita who became his partner in life as well as in the dancing business. Sick In Head is famous for his fashionable clothing designs, gangster dance style combined with a sense of humor and his creativity. The origin of the name and the signature dance is the "Chicken heads" with Aidonia. They also preformed with him on the UTECH Show, Striptease and The Limelight-Teen Jam, in 2006. Other shows where the Sick In Headz have preformed are Fashion Block in 2006, ATI-2006, Pulse Party and Pulse Fasion Show - 2006, Cages Night Club- Ocho Rios (Dutty Wine Competition as guest preformance with the artist Fearon), Azylum Anniversary - 2006, Spectrum-2007 - Vice Magazine Special, Bogle Memorial 2006-2008 and many more. You can see the Sick In Headz in action on most videos from Passa Passa, Weddy Weddy, Uptown Mondays, Early Mondays, Celebrity Tuesdays, Asylum, Bembe Thursdays, Escape, Dutty Fridayz etc. The new dances that they have launched are Step it up, No Re-Entry, Nation Step, Tek it over, Over and Out and Tek it to Dem. Some other dances that they have created are Body Motion, Execution and Fusion. In June he traveled to St. Kitts for a week long tour and in August it was time for the first European tour for 4 weeks, a great success with rammed clubs and shows. Sick In Head became the first Jamaican Dancehall dancer to perform on the main stage at Uppsala Reggae Festival, the biggest reggae festival in Scandinavia. He also was the first Jamaican dancer to be the judge of the official Swedish Dancehall queen contest in Gothenburg. In 2008 Fifty the Magnificent aka Sick In Head started the year with becoming a part of the Portmore Empire as a dancer together with his long time partner in Sick In Headz, Fire Blacks and Wizard. He completed 5 videos in January, 2 TV commercials and 2 videos in February and March and a number of stage performances in places like, Spectrum, Bogle Memorial, Vybez Kartel B-day Bash, Ricky Trooper B-day Bash and many more.
