About Me
A little bit about me...
I was born in Israel, 1982. A few years later I started playing the flute. I'm a graduate of the Jerusalem Music Academy, where I studied under Mr. Noam Buchman and Prof. Avner Biron, and of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover where I studied with with Prof. Andrea Lieberknecht.
Nowadays, In addition to my work on the modern flute I'm dedicating my time into the authentic Flute (Traverso) under the coaching of Mr. Marten Root in the HFK Bremen.
I've participated in many Master Classes of well known artists, including Aurel Nicolet, András Adorján, Peter Lukas Graf, William Bennet, Emmanuel Pahud, Benoit Fromanger and Michel Debost. I've taken place in several international festivals, in France, Usa, Austria, Spain, and England.
I've worked with famous conductors such as Frans Brüggen, Eiji Oue, Ed Spaanjard and others. As a soloist, I have performed with the Revolution Orchestra in Jerusalem, and with the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra in Prague, Jerusalem Festival Orchestra and others. some of my performances have been recorded for the Israeli radio and "Radio Netherlands"As part of my Musical perception, I don't believe in boundries and labels. I actually try to do the best I can to ignore them when I do bump into them every now and then. So- I spend a lot of time being active as a performer and as a composer in multidisciplinary, Boundless musical projects, influenced from various art forms and from Jazz, Rock, Folk, Contemporary and Arabic music. Among my compositions are short chamber pieces, music for theater and songs.
