Cheer the Faint

About Me

Formerly known as least of these, Cheer the Faint has been together since 2001. Their humble beginnings leading worship services for their local church's youth group in Rockland County, NY connected them as friends as well as band mates. Initially only a church worship band, Farrell Hopkins, Kyle Nicholson, Ryan Higgins, and Scott Smith began writing and performing original music and quickly found their sound. In 2002 cheer the faint was fortunate enough to record their first original full-length album, "learning still." at pilot recording studios, in NYC; the first pressing of which sold our quickly in New York and New Jersey. Cheer the faint has since focused on performing, from coffe shops to larger venues such as TBN's "Praise the Lord" with Stephen Baldwin. Now with six years of experience the group has matured into their definitive sound, from different musical and social backgrounds. IN 2007 Jeff Nicholson joined the band as the new drummer at the very same time when least of these became cheer the faint. Now the have formed and eclectic mix of high energy music and indie rock sounds. Their second album, "Listen Like Crazy," was release in April of 2007 and is available for sale on Itunes and CD Baby. look for it under the previous band name least of these.
