About Me

I have been playing professionally for over ten year during which time I have been fortunate to play with a lot of fantastic musicians in many different musical contexts. Along with my brother Tony, a stellar saxophonist, we co-lead our own quintet which is rooted in the Hard Bop tradition and has played at many diverse venues. Outwith jazz, both my brother and I continue to do extensive horn section work. Principally, this is with the Dundee based Insoul, who play throughout Scotland, as well as Mafia, Dougie Martin's Dundee institution, although we also freelance with other bands. Alongside performing, I also enjoy recording in varied musical contexts.
