All of his life Alex had been told he should do comedy. Even after being voted "Funniest Senior" at his High school when he graduated in 2002, it took him 5 years to go his first open mic. His life hasn't been the same since. Alex, Born Sture Alexander Ansel III in Ft Worth in 1984 has been performing on stages all over Texas. He's a regular at his home club in San Antonio. Recently he had the opportunity to play a role in "The Cleto Show" A San Antonio based sitcom starring Cleto Rodriguez and Tommy Munoz. Before that He was selling televisions for Circuit City. In under a year Alex went from selling TVs to being on them. Alex performs under the on-stage persona of "KOOLAID" a nickname he received as a child for resembling the rotund fruit drink character. He decided to keep the name, figuring there are worse nicknames to have. However that's not how he tells it on stage. A self-described Nerd, who fixes his neighbors computers, owns over 500 video games and quotes "Star Wars" endlessly has a universal appeal when it comes to his humor. He draws upon the positives and negatives of being morbidly obese, his retail experience, growing up in Germany and his struggle of living in the San Antonio suburbs of Windcrest.
