Sounds Like: Ant Stroll:
I was in the process of moving house, and some modernisation needed to be done as it was owned by an elderly couple. As new windows were replaced my father and i discovered an Ant's nest, which had to be treated.
This piece is about the struggles the insects had as they didn't understand to just move as neither my father or i speak ant. Sadly a lot died in the process, as they were not leaving with out a fight. Ant stroll is in three movements about the everyday struggles of ant life, getting powdered, and eventually moving nest to outside and repopulating.
Kidology:
I wrote a riff using an E drone based on two key centres, it was really a practice thing to alternate between them. I wrote a kind of head, one take wonder hence a few bum notes.
Brief Dream:
I find that i get the best sleep around 8-9 o' clock in the morning, the piece represents the vivid dreams i have at this period. As they are only snippets, but beautiful.
