Hi I am Anthony. I'll start by saying that I love Jesus and He has made life worth living for me.Born in the early 80s in West Africa, I would not say I had an excellent music background. My dad was a popular lead guitarist in his days although he doesn't play any more now and I've never seen him play any musical instrument till date. I once pleaded with him to play a guitar but he refused. Think he was trying to keep a promise he made to his late mum but his friends say he was a really dexterious musician so I'll go with that. So yea, that's about as much music legacy I got.My music journey started at the age of 18 and in church where I learnt how to play the piano. Did not have the previledge of attending a music school and I did not have a music tutor but all these factors did not stop the work that God intended. Infact, it helps ascribes all glory to God. The journey was not an easy one for me but it has been one of no regret for what I know and what I have, no one can take from me. I learnt by trying out stuffs, reading book, asking questions, and most importantly, listening to good music. Later on, I made friends with skillful musicians and have since improved considerably. Takes a while, but trust God and you'll get there ;)SOUNDS LIKE: Tony's got this sweet jazzy sound however, it can't be classified as plain jazz since he tends to fuse other genres into his playing. You can tell he loves to play the piano cause it just comes easy for him and when gets lost in the flow of the music anything is possible as anything can happen. He's just got this unpredictable and unusual sound and style. He'd just experiment.Another great part is that he is a lovely character. Loves to joke and isn't too 'grown-up'. Furthermore, he's not into music full time. He actually studied business administration and management. The way he flows you'd think music is what he is all about. Yea, he is a fusion of everything he listens to: Jazz, Rock, Blues, Gospel, Latin, and African Music. He's just different!
