About Me

Dwaalspoor is a Dutch dark dance night which is focused on dark experimental music styles like:
NeoFolk, Noise, Martial, Industrial, Angst & Military Pop, Avantgarde, DarkAmbient, Power Electronics and some Ritual things.
What does Dwaalspoor mean?
Dwaalspoor is a Dutch word which roughly can be translated in "Stray-track".

verb [I]
1 to travel along a route that was not originally intended, or to move beyond a limited area:
A herd of cattle had strayed into the road. They got lost when they strayed too far from the footpath. The ship strayed off course during the storm.
This shapes a bit the musical and conceptual look and feel of this special dance night.
On these nights the Dwaalspoor DJs will serve you the old trusted recipe. A nice dance night with lots of variety existing out of: threating dark ambient, fine relaxed neofolk, bombastic martial, strict and firm military pop, inescapable powernoise. And of course for the special lover, the best delicacies out of the cold meat kitchen.
The home base of Dwaalspoor is the club Baroeg in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
