New Cotton Covers

The New Cotton Covers are a professional and friendly band who have played at a multitude of Functions and Weddings over the last eight years. Unlike a lot of other wedding bands, we have found that there is more to an evenings entertainment than churning out a load of cheesy songs between the DJ's set. The songs we play have been hand-picked and tailored to make your evening the best it can be for you and your Guests. It's your special day and not just another gig for us.
We get a feel for what everybody wants on the night by taking requests from our extensive set list. If we can, the band will play your First Dance for you and actively encourage the more confident guests up onto the stage to sing along with us! We feel this makes for a much more enjoyable and memorable night (please see the 'Testimonial' section of our website to hear feedback from some of the people we have played for).

LOZ APPERLY on Lead Vocals and Guitars - Loz sings his heart out at every Gig, if you've got a request he's the man to ask. As for his sense of humour, well...let's just say that luckily his singing is far better than his jokes
GORDY PARTRIDGE on Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals - His driving Bassline's and dulcet tones are not his only attributes, Gordy also provides a foot-stomping DJ set that will set any DanceFloor alight.
SIMON MOTH on Lead Guitar and Keyboards - Si's ability to mimick any sound on the Keyboard is highly impressive and will have wondering if Stevie Wonder is in the building. Couple this with his Rip-Roaring Lead Guitar work and even Eric Clapton will be shaking in his boots
And last but by no means least.....
GARY WIGGET on Drums - Often compared to Animal from the Muppets, Gary's Tub-Thumping will turn even the most timid guest into Jon Travolta on the DanceFloor.
