The sound of jackhammers and heavy machinery tell me that we're making progress as we continue to build the Shameless Plug, our... scratch that YOUR Indie Community website. We've just completed our YouTube channel, but it's kind of lonely without you there, so we're calling on you independent artists and labels to populate it. Use our channel to be heard by more listeners. Use our channel to be seen by more music fans. Use our channel as an outpost to build your online presence.
We're building this tool for you...and we don't even know you YET! (it's funny how when the exclamation point is right next to yet, how it looks like YETI, but you know what it takes all kinds, we hope Shameless Plug will be the home of the first all-Yeti psychobilly band, we're cool with yetis [it's probably plural without the 's', like Jedi] we're down with Sasquatches even [don't ask me the plural form of that one, got no clue there], yeah but we're open for anything, as long as they're not major label yetis, they hella suck) We're providing this platform to change that. We're providing it because we want to know you, and we want everyone else to know you, too.
So...LOAD IT UP! Send us a link to your YouTube video. We've got lots of room. Are you a local garage rock legend from Milwaukee? Are you a laptop maestro from Mozambique? Are you a throwback to the golden era of hip-hop from Golden, Colorado? Just tell who you are, your song title, and your musical genre. We'll create the playlists accordingly for the whole wide world to see. If your video is chosen to be on our Main Video page, you'll be the first to know.
