I like girls and I like boys. I like my girls more like boys and my boys to have a hint of girl.
The days are getting longer. My attention span is getting shorter. Thank god my dog and I are in the same boat. My dad's favorite spring ditty: "Spring has sprung, the trees is riz', wonders where the birdies is? There's a birdie flying high, dropping whitewash in my eye. I don't care, I won't cry, I'm just glad that cows don't fly."

I'm optimistic. I quoted Charles Swindoll in 1993 when I spoke at my graduation and I'm still in awe of the theory:
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.
