About Me

New friends, new jobs, new beginnings. Rediscovered friendships. Always cherishing my old constants.
I'm not like other girls. I'm Uniqi (say it out loud, it'll make sense if you know me). I'm a bitch. I'm passionate. I'm fucking funny. I'm a thoroughbred Gemini. I'm the girl you want standing behind you in a bar fight. And I'm the girl you want leading you into the bedroom ;)
I like girls and I like boys. I like my girls more like boys and my boys to have a hint of girl.
The days are getting longer. My attention span is getting shorter. Thank god my dog and I are in the same boat. My dad's favorite spring ditty: "Spring has sprung, the trees is riz', wonders where the birdies is? There's a birdie flying high, dropping whitewash in my eye. I don't care, I won't cry, I'm just glad that cows don't fly."
weehaw - its 2009!! bring it on :)br>
I'm optimistic. I quoted Charles Swindoll in 1993 when I spoke at my graduation and I'm still in awe of the theory:
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes."
