I hate these things. People ask you what your interests are, and then you can't think of anything, and then you get paranoid that you're not very interesting. Grrr. Well, just so you know, I'm so interesting that it's unbelievable. Exactly, you don't believe me do you?
Well, here goes, I'm going to try and sell my self now.
I suppose the things I am happiest when doing are listening to music and talking to people. I've never been a socialite, particularly because to be one of THEM you have to like clubbing and binge drinking. Which, to be honest, isn't my cup of tea. But, having said that, a cup of tea isn't my cup of tea. So it's a bit of a daft and presumptious saying.
By talking to people I mean interesting stuff like what they've done in their lives, where they come from, experiecnes they've had, etc. Not things such as gossip, which bores me.
The biggest 'interest' of mine, that would be harsh to leave out, is that I am a Christian. To me it is proposterous to put 'Christian' in a little box tucked away, as though it is something i do twice a year. If you don't believe in God I can understand it, I find it hard at times as well. But if you believe that there is a God, or, more specifically, you are a Christian, then you believe that there is a deity, or whatever, that made you, loves you and died for you. If you believe this, and yet don't try, every living moment, to be your best, to give thanks and live Chirst-like, then you are a fool at best.I like Tunnock's Caramel Wafers.
There are some pretty classic people that have graced this earth. I should hope so to, considering how many fools we've had. There are some people that i'd probably like to meet for an evening, for some light entertainment. Peter Kay would be a great laugh. I'd also like to meet the guy that is the complete opposite of Ricky Gervais. I think i'd like him. I put before that i'd like to meet people like Einstein, clever people, but i'm not really sure if they'd be that interesting. Maybe if i could have met them before they were famous or something, and then nicked their ideas..... Musical people on the other had, well, the famous old ones anyway, they never washed their clothes and were complete recluses, maybe. So we'd prob get on like a house on fire. There are some really inspirational people i'd like to meet. Martin Luther King Jr. sounded pretty cool, Nelson Mandela would also be great to meet. William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army, the church i am a member of (a 'soldier', no less), would be quality to meet, creating an organisation that has shaped the world for the better, an organisation i am proud to belong to. I think many people, Christian or not, would have like to have met Jesus, and this is not different for me. However, he is not the person in the Bible i would most like to meet. Reading the books the guy wrote, just under 2000 years ago, so much of his stuff is applicable today, to my life. Things i have read written by him were the exact same things i was thinking at that moment. I would feel completely out of my depth talking to Jesus, but, whilst i'm still not on a par with him, talking to this other guy, because of his self-professed flaws, would be so refreshing and enlightening to talk to. For this reason, i will call my first born son 'Paul'. (This is of course extremely presumptious, that i'll have a son, but i'm a presumptioning kind of guy (that should have blatantly been 'presuming')).

I'm a pretty slow reader.
I also read 'The Daily Telegraph' when I'm at home, although the glorious 'Independent' is far and away the greatest newspaper. I'm tight so I get the free online version :)
I've retired from reading 'FourFourTwo', however I love 'The Economist'.
