Sky was yellow and the sun was blue. Lady finger dipped in moonlight
Writing ..what for?' across the morning sky,
Sunlight splatters dawn with answers,
Darkness shrugs and bids the day goodbye. Dark star crashes,
pouring its light
into ashes. Small wheel turn by the fire and rod,
Big wheel turn by the grace of God,
Everytime that wheel turn round,
bound to cover just a little more ground. Spanish lady come to me, she lays on me this rose.
It rainbow spirals round and round,
It trembles and explodes,
It left a smoking crater of my mind,
I like to blow away.
But the heat came round and busted me
For smilin on a cloudy day.
Once in a while
you get shown the light,
in the strangest of places
if you look at it right. Nine mile skid
on a ten mile ride,
Hot as a pistol
but cool inside,
Cat on a tin roof
Dogs in a pile
Nothing left to do but
smile, smile, smile.
