WELCOME EVERYONE!!!!My name is Justin Babcock. I am a Dad, a brother, a son and friend. .. I have been a singer for as long as I can remember. I started out doing classical music in highschool and church choir and eventually moved into Rock. I have been doing Hard Rock/Heavy Metal for years now but have always had a passion for many different styles. I'm hoping to start to explore all of them with my future musical endevors. .. I am the lead singer for the band BABCOCK. myspace.com/babcockband Our new album first started out as my solo cd and has quickly turned into a band. The album, "A Reflection" is in production right now and we are looking for an late 2008 release. The album will be a mix of contemporary piano and acoustic material as well as some more darker/edgier stuff. With the help of some very close friends, this album is finally going to see the light of day after many years of desire and dreaming. .. I am also the lead singer for the band DARK OCTOBER. myspace.com/darkoctoberband This is a side project from BABCOCK. Several of the musicians from BABCOCK are playing in DARK OCTOBER. We basically started this band to explore more straight up Radio Rock. We do covers and will soon be doing our own original material as well. This band is totally different from BABCOCK and it's a great way to again stretch myself as a musician and explore different styles. We will be starting to do shows in the metro Detroit area come January 2009. .. I will also be putting up some of my artwork and poetry from time to time so you can check that out.
