I created this site for a couple reasons. To share a story about drunk driving. To get support from others living in Oklahoma to make some changes in a law or two. Wanting friends to share their story if it's about how alcohol has affected their life. I'm no prude...just want the world to know how it's not good to drive after you had a few...Don't let the name- MadMaddMother-keep you from becoming my friend... I really am a kind and loving Mom of 7 and Grandmother of 10! Please take a moment to read my blog which will explain a lot of my madness!December 12th update... I have just read my blogs and they are a bit on the angry side, understanding when they were written I was overwhelmed with gut wrenching emotional pain. I asked many friends to pray for me and I know they did because the anger has lightened some, thank you all! My intention is to bring awareness about how our courts are not protecting us...when a felony drunk driver is allowed to go on with their life, pay no fine...perform no community service and get back on our roads and highways and drive really scares me... Together, I believe we can make a difference in our communities...when we say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...and demand change...it will happen! In 10 years, when most of my grandchildren will start to drive,I want them safe! I'd like to think that as a society we will have reached a point that it will no longer be accepted...drunk driving won't be viewed as a mistake or bad choice...it will be acknowledged for what it is...a crime!
