About Me

I'm Marc. I am the oldest of 5 children. I have lived in 12 different places in my 26 years of life, mostly in New York, with a one-year stint on the west coast (San Diego, California).I hated school and it would be a ultimate reflection in irony that this is where I may end up spending the majority of hours of my life. I left college with grand dreams of becoming one of those Law and Order types, perhaps a judge, involved in high drama affairs. It was only after two years of desk jobs and one year of law school that I realized this probably was not something I would end up doing. Of all things...I now teach Business and English to high school students in the Bronx. I wish I could stay young forever in many respects, yet I yearn for the experience that only comes with age.

My Interests

Create your own visitor map!

I'd like to meet:

People much like my best friends, who have taken years to assemble, disassemble, and assemble again.Ideally, if I were to combine the best of all their personalities, they do not enjoy the planning process, and thus enjoy going on spontaneous trips to not so far away lands. They enjoy eating fancy foods and going to fancy places. They talk til my ears fall off. They like movies and music, really like it. And other such things which I can not compile in a very romantic way at such a late hour.

Music:

The Doors, Fiona Apple, Simon and Garfunkel, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, Wilco, Elliot Smith, Nirvana, The Bravery, The Decemberists

Movies:

Sleeper (The year: 1973), Fargo, Being John Malkovich, The Never Ending Story, Ghostbusters, American Beauty

Television:

My So-Called Life, Fraggle Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Real Time With Bill Maher, Arrested Development, Elimidate

Books:

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, The Catcher in the Rye, Why Americans Hate Politics, The Great Gatsby, Slaughterhouse 5

Heroes:

That guy on the NewsHour who retired. He was really awesome when I was a kid.
