About Me

Welcome to blues all night on the radio! The music comes roughly from the years 1920 to 1960, from the earliest 78s of blues legends like Robert Johnson, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Blake, Bessie Smith, Charley Patton and more, to the more sophisticated recordings of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, and Lightnin' Hopkins. No talk, no commercials, just straight blues until 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings. Obscure recordings, fabulous rarities, live performances and more. Delta Blues, Chicago Blues, Texas Blues, New Orleans Blues, Memphis Blues, guitar blues, piano blues, my baby left me blues. Feeling bad never felt so good.

My Interests

Lightnin Hopkins got the Mojo Hand...

The blues hits a time warp, as the Rolling Stones welcome Howlin' Wolf to ABC's teeny bop hour of "Shindig." "She could do the boogaloo, she could do the frug. But could she make a fore-day creep?"
